There are significant changes for our hotel accommodation for the ONT Fall Convention. Hotels can be booked at any time and simply advise the hotels that you are with the Barbershop Group.
The Best Western was unwilling to honor our long standing agreement with them so we have moved to the Hampton Inn (HQ) and the Townplace Suites by Marriott. These two properties are stumbling distance apart with a shared parking lot that has 10 E-parking spots. Parking is free at both, breakfast is included, both have beautiful indoor pools and work out rooms. The Hampton is technically the HQ hotel in that the judges will be there as will the Saturday hospitality room, however as mentioned, they are so close that it is irrelevant which you stay in.
Both have suites with kitchenettes and limited rooms with full kitchens. The Hampton is recently renovated, and the Marriott is virtually new. It was finished immediately prior to the onset of Covid and then more or less closed for two years.
Rates for the Hampton, $169 + tx with a premium for full kitchen or kitchenette.
Rates for the Marriott, $179 + tx with a premium for full kitchen or kitchenette.
Yes, we appreciate that rates may seem higher than you are used to but that is a sign of the times and both of these hotels are a step above most that we have had in the past.
Overflow hotels are the Comfort Inn @ $159 + tx per night and the Days Inn @ 105 + tx per night. Standard rooms, no breakfast. Both are about a 7 min. drive to the Hampton and Marriott.
There should be extra space for hospitality should chapters or quartets wish to do something for Friday night. Please make separate arrangements with the hotel(s). Neither the Comfort Inn or Days Inn have hospitality space available.
Distance and time from all hotels to the Sanderson Center is approx. the same.
NOTE: Cut off dates for reservations at convention rates in all hotels is Sept. 14th!
