“The Twin City Harmonizers” Chorus has been singing as a public service and social benefit to members continuously in the Kitchener – Waterloo and Cambridge community since the Chapter was formed in 1946.

The Chorus’ Mission is to provide opportunities and encouragement to men of all ages to sing a cappella, four-part close harmony in the barbershop style, and to perform publicly for the lifelong enjoyment and enrichment of its members, its audiences, and those it serves.

The Twin City Harmonizers chorus has been the Ontario District Chorus Champions seven times (most recently in 2013) and represented the Ontario District at International in 1978.  The Chorus puts on an Annual Show and a Christmas Show in addition to several sing-outs in the community.  The chapter also hosts “Dawg Haus” on the first Friday in November.  And has done so continually since 1968.  It is a fun night of good singing, good humour and good food with all proceeds going to Harmonize for Speech.

The Twin City Harmonizers supports charities in the community including the Ontario Harmonize for Speech Fund.  This charitable organization provides funds for numerous speech-related projects and equipment at schools, hospitals, clinics and treatment centres throughout Ontario.

The Harmonizers invite any men who enjoy singing and who want to experience the good fun and fellowship of singing four-part Barbershop Harmony to join them any Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Kitchener Portuguese Club – 1548 Fischer-Hallman Road East, Kitchener Ontario
