Gateway Harmony Company (GHC) began on February 3, 1987, when four men gathered in the basement of St. Andrew’s United Church for an evening of singing.  The group grew until on September 8, 1989, GHC was chartered as the North Bay Chapter of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.

Gateway Harmony Company has been built on the strength of strong musical leadership. Our vocal style is four-part, unaccompanied, close harmony. The members of GHC love to sing a variety of musical styles with contemporary and classical arrangements for all occasions. GHC is currently inviting everyone with a passion for singing to join us at an upcoming chapter meeting. As a “barbershopper” you will have the opportunity to give the gift of music back to your community.

Seniors’ residences, churches and civic gatherings are just some of the places where we love to bring the enjoyment of musical harmony. We are thrilled to announce that our chorus now offers the barbershop experience to men and women in a mixed chorus format.
