Ontario Quartetting Event
Does summer seem to be a long way away? Why not learn some music during the next few months while we wait for summer.
The Ontario Quarteting Event is back again on August 8, 2026 at Harmony ranch.
Each singer must arrive knowing all eight (8) songs cold! This year, the songs are:

Throughout the day, you will be assigned to a station, where you will meet three other random quartet participants and a coach. You will work together for 35 mins, then move to a new station with new participants and another coach. This process is repeated six times throughout the day, allowing you to sing with as many fellow barbershoppers and top notch educators as possible. And it all happens in a gorgeous country setting!
In the evening, every singer will perform all 8 songs in a chorus setting, and then the fun starts… Participants will be randomly drawn for a quartet contest, each with a randomly assigned song. Your quartet will perform on our informal evening show, in front of our very appreciative Harmony Ranch audience!!!
Whether you are active in a quartet or not, this is a great way to create wonderful Barbershop harmonies with folks from all over Ontario and beyond.
Your OQE registration covers the costs for all 8 songs’ music and learning tracks, as well as a delicious catered lunch and dinner. (OQE T-shirts must be ordered separately on your first year as participant)
