Ontario District Quartet Wins Seniors Championship

Congratulations to DoubleDouble, who represented the Ontario District at the International Seniors Quartet Competition in Nashville, Tennessee and took home the gold, becoming only the second quartet in district history to accomplish the feat. Performing two parody numbers, the quartet hit just about every Canadian gag in the book as they sang their way to the trophy on Saturday on the legendary stage of the Grand Ole Opry. The quartet consists of tenor Bobby Gibson, lead John Mallett, baritone Perry Wildfong, and bass Dave Feltrin.

The top five quartets were, in order:

DoubleDouble, 76.8%

Hearsay, 76.2%
Unfinished Business, 75.7%
Fossil Creak, 75.5%
