The sweet sound of December music filled the air inside the Northside United Church in Seaforth last week as the Western Division Barbershop Christmas Show occupied the bottom pews as well as the better part of the upper level.
The theme focused on November 27-Harmony at Christmas.
Annually, they make an appearance in various cities including Strathroy, Sarnia and London and every five years or so the civic town of Seaforth gets the blissful opportunity of being the location selected for a little taste of holiday spirit.
Typically the show breezes in on the last Sunday of November.
The director of the Harmony Kings, Dave Campbell said he “thought the event went really well, it was well represented, there were good quartets as well.”
Three other barbershop chapters from the region were invited to take part in the musical that requires only a strong voice box, some finger snaps, and a foot beat, including the Strathroy Vocal Federation, London Men of Accord and Forest City Fire from Middlesex Centre
